Our Journey
Founded in 1991 as SIGNAL Ltd., the company traces its roots back to 1983, when a small metalworking and locksmith shop was established in Sombor. What began as a hands-on workshop evolved into a family-owned business with a clear mission: to restore clarity, rhythm, and safety to public infrastructure through high-quality traffic signage and engineering. Over three decades, SIGNAL has grown into one of the leading manufacturers of traffic signage and infrastructure components in Serbia and the region—now employing over 100 people and serving clients across multiple industries.
While our legacy is rooted in traffic signalization, design, and maintenance, SIGNAL has entered a new phase. In the past couple of years, we’ve expanded into metal fabrication and modular steel infrastructure, investing in fiber laser systems, precision cutting technologies, and scalable production workflows. This strategic shift allows us to serve not only road safety and urban infrastructure, but also telecom, industrial, and export-driven sectors.

Given that the company's activities predominantly consist of products and services that have a direct or indirect impact on traffic safety, and consequently the safety of citizens involved in traffic, these quality elements are set as an imperative in defining the company's quality policy and objectives. Our expertise
The qualification structure of employees, their expertise and experience, along with the constant provision of licenses and certificates, fully enables the smooth operation of all registered activities. Accordingly, a team of traffic, mechanical, and electrical engineers oversees the production and installation of traffic signs, marking of horizontal traffic signs, and the production and maintenance of light signage to achieve the highest level of product and service quality.
Our team
A company of our size and diverse range of products and operations brings together a team of employees with various qualifications and expertise from several industries. Painters and field workers form the backbone of our company, supported by locksmiths, tinsmiths, welders, machinists, CNC machine operators, electricians, employees in digital printing and applications of retroreflective films. Logistics and expertise are provided by traffic, electrical, mechanical engineers and graphic designers. Support and logistics for all operations are provided by accountants, economists, lawyers, and financial analysts, while a team of directors oversees the overall business operations.
